Digitize Dialogue

Please join the dialogue!

With the recurring event "Digitize Dialog" we would like to exchange ideas with our partners, members and all who are interested. Through the event, we want to create awareness and inspire people to participate by showing ways in which all those involved in outdoor tourism can work together to find a way to reduce pressure on nature and the associated conflicts.

3. DIGITIZE Dialogue

Digitize the Planet is continuing their Digitize Dialogue and invites you to the 3rd Digitize Dialog on 2nd December 2021 from 14:00 - 15:30 (video conference).

We will share news from our non-profit start-up Digitize the Planet:

We are delighted to have received a prestigious funding agreement. This will allow us to implement on a large scale the approach we have developed to digitize and publish the rules for the use of nature: We have hired Dr Steffen Gebhardt, an accomplished programmer, and Jasmine Holfeld, an experienced tourism expert, to support our project manager Sebastian Sarx. In this new team we are more efficient and faster. Ms Holfeld and Dr Gebhardt will introduce themselves in the dialogue.

Dr Steffen Gebhardt has transformed our solution approach into a usable database of digitized information on more than 250 protected areas, which can now be managed. Based on this functional prototype, we will be able to advance the digitization of rules for the use of nature on a large scale.

We were able to welcome new members.

We look forward to a lively exchange of knowledge & experience and to your suggestions on our work.

2. DIGITIZE Dialogue

We used the second Digitize Dialogue to present and share the results of our first pilot phase with you. Through the cooperation with our pilot partners, we have exchanged and worked on laws, ordinances and local agreements. On this basis, we have given an outlook on the further work of the organisation and the upcoming evaluation phase of the results.

1. DIGITIZE Dialogue

The first "Digitize Dialogue" took place on 10 November. Topics were the tasks we have set ourselves, the goals we want to achieve and the possible results that can be achieved by digitalising the rules for using our natural environment.
